Initially I watched the video without audio and didn’t understand it it all. It was almost giving the impression of physical theatre to me due to the fluid dance moves. The use of dance often didn’t correspond with the audio, but I felt it complimented this. Its central focus being a combination of dance intrigued me, that I could possibly use to inform my practice. As I identified parallels in current world affairs and government social restrictions. Illustrating an idea of a generation of peoples youth being stolen from them. 

However once played with audio, I felt the amalgamation of sound really reflected its times in terms of the culture, 80’s rave music? Made evident in the choice of fashion and the vintage camcorder film. The given title ‘Firucci’ I assosicated with fashion, plus the recited voice-over of trended brands at that time. Whilst the added name ‘made me hardcore’ mirrored both, the choice of music used and production of clothing? Illustrating the concept of how a choice of clothing could possibly inflict a persons mental state, allowing them to become more confident and ‘hardcore’.
