First of all, education system's main aim is to make students well-supported in education, career and so on. In order to do this, they need to have the ethical values and general competencies. The most important one is to keep up with the developing world and changing age. As known, this is the age of technology and technology is a big part of the education. For example, with the new curriculum revision, competence in science and technology has become one of the necessary competencies. Today's students are expected to use technology in a safe and effective way. So, this happens by the help of teachers by teaching students how to use it. Because the education system is not just about having a successful education or career life. It's also about being educated in ethical values such as love, and justice; and being able to demonstrate these behaviours related to values.
When it comes to what I would like to learn more about is that what kind of changes in primary and secondary schools' curriculum were done. In addition, I want to learn about teachers' and education system's studies and efforts to help students acquire general competencies, and related skills. There aren't things that are unclear to me except for the reasons of the new curriculum revision. I think the reasons that are stated are too general.
