Living here in Utah where the cultural norm is LDS it was challenging to make friends. All of the Men I have dated in Utah were raised in family with religious backgrounds in the LDS church. I enjoy big family gatherings which typically take place with food at the center. When celebrating the holidays, the door is always open and you never know who will be sitting next to you at the table. We do this every year and the company is always a very diverse crowd. I had to work hard to move up the ladder and earn my place. I spent 10 years with Sportsmans and up until recent years the outdoors industry catered to men. Being in management for companies like this was challenging because people viewed me as too soft.
