Rose is a kindhearted person, she makes sure everyone else is good before herself. There are many scenes that show how she is a kindhearted person. The one chosen was her taking Troys child in. Even after Troy got another woman pregnant, she overlooked Troy's actions, and took the child as she said "child got a mother.

But you are a woman less man" (Wilson 115). The child has a mother but Troy has lost his wife. Troy's actions don't effect the love she has towards the child, no child should not have a mother.

Rose expresses herself as an Motivational person. This scene shows when Cory says he has a shadow following him his whole life. Every time he felt something follow him, it was weighed down by his father Troy. It would stay there until he wouldn't know who he was anymore. Rose explains to her son that you can't be nobody but who you are. The shadow following him was just him growing into himself. You either have to grow into it or have it cut down to you. Rose was trying to say is that Troy wanted Cory to be nothing like him, he wanted Cory to be everything he couldn't or wasn't. Cory see's Rose as this wonderful lovely women. She is always there for him, and sticks up for him when Troy brings him down. Rose is Cory number one supporter in the long run.

This art piece represents Rose putting others in front of her before herself. The piece of art that is showing is trying to show this women helping these young girls. It reflects on Rose because that's all she did in the movie was to make sure others were fed and taken care of before herself.

Betrayal can impact a significant way a family's life can change forever. The author states "I can sit up in her house and laugh. Do you un-derstand what I’m saying. I can laugh out loud . . . and it feels good. It reaches all the way down to the bottom of my shoes" (Wilson 94). Troy can run away from his problems and be a different man with her. When he's with Rose he just has to worry with the bills, and getting them paid, and with her he can laugh out loud, and feel good about himself.

This song is called "What about Us" by Pink, this is represented towards Rose because it states "We were willin', we came when you called But man, you fooled us Enough is enough" (Pink Verse). It shows when Rose was willing to come when she was called but Troy had different plans when he was with another women, he fooled his family. She also states in her song "We are problems that want to be solved We are children that need to be loved" (Pink Verse). Rose had problems she knew it wasn't the best marriage but she bury all of her love and stress into Troy and she just wanted to be loved the same.
