Certification Guidance

The certification expiration date marks the last day an individual can conduct observations or deliver trainings.
The “renewal available until” date indicates the final day they can purchase and activate their recertification test.
During this renewal available window, they are not eligible to conduct observations or trainings, it’s simply the timeframe allotted to complete the renewal process.
To avoid any interruption in their ability to observe or train, it’s best to complete recertification before the expiration date.
Trainer certification expiration dates should now align with their observer certification dates. This business rule applies across both CLASS® 2nd Edition and CLASS® 2008 certifications.
