Our time together at Howitt has been quite an adventure, and we've seen a lot of change since 2003! You've worked hard to create programs and develop partnerships that would improve our school community and student learning. Thank you especially, for all your support with the Garden Club! I wish we could have seen it to completion, but I know that someone will pick up the baton (or shovel) and keep digging!

I can remember the exact moment I met you --at Arline Besner's retirement party! It seems like yesterday! Once again- thank you for all you have done for Howitt and specifically for the music dept. At every school at which I've taught (or interviewed, for that matter) principals always told me their library was the hub of the school, but no where else has that been as true as it is at Howitt and a good part of that is due to your support. These years sure have flown by. Thank you for being available to listen, as well as for reaching out to faculty (and reps) for thoughts and opinions. I've always felt heard regardless of the hat I was wearing. It meant a lot to people that you were so proud of all things Howitt -- academics, activities, clubs, and sports alike. I appreciate all the support you gave to the musical while I was involved. I'm also thankful that you supported my knee-jerk decision to direct the H.S. show. You already know the biggest disappointment that I'll have to live with is that you couldn't get A/C into that hotbox we call 518. Best wishes to you and your family.
