I am such a caring person for people, animals, environment, etc. Growing up, I saw my mother going out of her way to help others out when needed and not get anything in return but the joy from seeing a smile on that person's face. I was fascinated by this and wanted to be just like my mother and help others out whenever I could. Getting this joy from helping others out in tough situations, I found a career that I would love to get a degree in as I would be constantly helping others out, physically and mentally. I recently started working out at the gym and hiking major trails about 1 year ago. I did this because I wanted to change my body image and generally live a happier, healthier lifestyle. Fitness has changed my body in a good way as well as changed my personality. I found myself through fitness and have become a happier/more positive person as it makes me feel good inside and out. I grew up seeing my parents struggle for money as neither of them went to college and had to stay at entry-level jobs. Seeing this struggle and having to deal with the consequences of this struggle, I knew I didn't want this lifestyle when I was older and to make sure that I pursue I career that I will enjoy as well as have good pay, but in order to do this I had to stay on top of my schooling. All of my past schooling years, I have always maintained an honor roll GPA.
