         <description><![CDATA[<div>The Constitutional Convention took place from May 27, 1787  - September 17, 1787. The people of the convention elected George Washington as the president of the the Constitutional Convention. There were 55 delegates that came to the convention out of 12 states. The convention was located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The purpose was to amend the Articles Of Confederation and create a new constitution for America.</div>]]></description>

         <title>Large states VS small states</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The issue between small and large states was that the large states wanted representation to be based on population. The small states felt that all states should be treated equally no matter what. The Virginia plan was a proposal by Virginia delegates for a legislative branch. The New Jersey plan demanded for two house in Congress. The Great Compromise was an agreement with the large and small states that there should be two houses ( house of reps and Senate). </div>]]></description>

         <title>How slaves would be counted in population</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The northern states thought that slaves were considered property and should be counted for taxes, while the southern states thought that slaves should be counted in the population to determine representation. They came up with a agreement that 3 out of 5 slaves should be counted towards representation. </div>]]></description>

They came up with the Commerce Compromise which was where North agreed to wait 20 years to discuss issue of slave trade.</div>]]></description>
