         <description><![CDATA[<div>Once Mussolini became the dictator, he make sure the people would vote for the fascist group called the Blackshirts.  People voted for other groups aside from the fascist one. In 1926, he banned other parties, making it impossible to vote against him. People who spoke against him would be killed, he didn't have many enemies so there was no need to do mass killings like other dictators. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>There was a crisis in 1930 called the Abyssinia Crisis between the Kingdom of Italy and the Empire of Ethiopia. The League of Nations went against Italy and voted for a penalty for disobeying the law. The League of Nations decided to make Italy pay (economic wise). Italy ignored their decision and decided to leave the League of Nations. They made deals with France and Britain and ultimately gained control of Ethiopia.  In result, this helped in creating an alliance with Germany's leader, Hitler. </div>]]></description>
