I believe that students violate commandment #6 which states, "Thou shalt not copy or use proprietary software for which you have not paid". Many students download versions of for example streaming sports events on "cracked" apps in order for their own gain. I also think that student also violate commandment #8, which briefly mentions the idea of plagiarism and the problem with copying and pasting through AI models and using other students information.

In my opinion, I think it is both the convenience and the pressure to perform in class. In my personal experience, I can say that at times when a deadlines need to be met and the assignment is not quite completed, I look to find a more efficient way of doing it. People often look outside the box and try to minimize the time they spend on a particular assignment in order to get it done. Secondly, I think that academic pressure of performing well and getting good grades moves students to push for shortcuts leading to the breach of some of the commandments.

I think that, having access to affordable resources and providing student discounts to many programs would entice students to buy the programs. I have seen from my almost four years here at Seton Hall how many professors try to push buying there own book for their own self interest. I think some of the books are outrageously expensive and do not need to be that much. I think as people who are trying to educate kids across the country there needs to be an incentive to buy the books, and programs without price gauging students into spending large amounts of money.
