Not only did I face challenges in the real world, but I also encountered them in the virtual world. People looked down on my avatar, sneered at me for not using AP or VIP, and often ostracized me during gatherings. It’s frustrating because I play IMVU to escape the stresses of everyday life and find a sense of community, yet I often feel judged and isolated instead.

What should I do now? I know I’m not alone in this struggle, and I’m eager to find ways to make my time in IMVU more positive for myself and others.

Let me tell you a little story. Last month I got a job offer from a company, in a field that I really wanted to work in. But because I was too excited, I got nervous and couldn't do anything. I had no confidence in myself. I tried to vent to my friends in imvu and the response was really wholesome. I'm from an absent family, so I thought maybe my imvu family could calm me down a bit. I told them my worries without thinking that I would get a good response, but in fact they gave me tips, advice, support and prayers.

Tbh, I feel so loved and confident. I finally went to that interview thanks to the strength my family gave me from this imvu. Well, even though it turned out to be a fake vacancy and I haven't gotten a job until now, at least every time I return to this imvu world, I always feel encouraged. I feel like there are people who support me and believe that I can do it. Humans can be so warm. And I won't give up looking for a job for these people who already believe in me.
