On the blacktop there is a magnified map of the United States, large enough for a child to stand within eachstate. We have played this with other classes, and it can be played with a single class. When it is our time, students quickly find and stand on a state that they will be asked about. Students may be reviewing state name, state capital, state flower, motto, or any information they can provide at the time they are asked. They may play in multiple rounds and re-position themselves in another state to do the same thing all over again.
