Their office is in the Bank of America Financial Center, a big brown building with a slanted cut across the middle, one of the city's most recognizable buildings. THL Partners is a private equity firm. The business model can be complicated, but to be put simply, they receive money from investors, and the money is invested into smaller companies in need of help. In return, those investors hope to turn a profit through an interest in their shares.
