This lesson taught me that you should always try your best to be empathetic and kind to people because you don't know what they are going through. Even if you can't empathize with them or are bad at empathizing you should always be kind to them and try and make there day better because that is the kind thing to do and you would want someone to do the same thing for you if you were having a bad day.

Misinterpreting

In the pear deck as well it brought up misinterpreting. It showed me how while using texting different things can come off not how they were supposed to. If you are just casually texting a friend and you use the wrong punctuation or the wrong emoji it can be taken differently than you intended it to. That's why it is important to always use the right emoji or punctuation and make the message clear or just write how you are feeling ahead of time of the conversation because then maybe that person who you are texting will be able to empathize with you and they can try their best to help you have a better day.
