Opposition Leader Bill Shorten immediately decried Mr Hockey's comment as "insulting" and reminiscent of his "poor people don't drive cars" remark.What do you think of that?</strong></div><div>Getting a good paying job is difficult in itself and not even guaranteed you will be able to purchase a home even if your job pays good. Agree with Bill Shorten. I don’t really know.<br><br></div><div><strong>There are now 65,000 more young people on the voting roll after Same Sex Marriage - what difference if any will it make?<br></strong>Young people are clearly more involved, it will show that they obviously have things they care about and are passionate about (wow! who knew!!) and can make a difference. Hopefully people will take young people’s voice seriously, seeing that they have influence.<br><br></div><div><strong>Can young people change things by voting? Do we have a real democracy?<br></strong>Young people can for sure make a difference, getting involved is a step in the right direction.<br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><br><strong>Question 1: </strong><br><br>Obtaining work with a good salary can be quite difficult, and even having a job that pays well still does not guarantee that young people will be able to afford to buy a home, especially due to the rising cost of housing. <br><br><strong>Question 2:&nbsp;<br><br></strong>The same sex marriage vote concluding positively, will allow young people to feel empowered and see that their voice is being heard. This may influence young people to vote for other causes as they feel like they have a voice in their society, a voice that is now being heard. <br><br><strong>Question 3:&nbsp;<br><br></strong>Young people ad up to a high percentage of the population, if majority of young people begin to vote their votes can really pave the way for change.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Question 1: Getting a job in itself can be hard. Now-a-days one must have heaps of qualifications to get into the positions. Even then, once you finish a course, there'll be like thousands of others trying to get the same spot, making it even harder.<br><br>Question 2: I believe that even 1 vote can make change. As shown in some campaigns, sometimes it comes close to only like 50 votes. So the 60,000 young people voting would easily be a big portion and change voting. <br><br>Question 3: Young people can make change, and are slowly gaining voice themselves (or through youth work). As for true democracy, it's hard to say. It would be great to say yes, but it only truly works everybody has a say</div>]]></description>
