         <description><![CDATA[<div>Budget: $200 - $500(?)&nbsp;<br>- money would be spent on some supplies, we could ask for donations from staff and families once supply list is finalized.<br>- concessions to be sold (chips, water, popcorn, maybe small sandwiches)&nbsp;<br>- No door prizes&nbsp;<br>- Raffle tickets! I think I'll have them be sold for $2-$3 per ticket. 1st place prize: Science night goodie bag! (Snacks, National Geographic Build your own volcano (5.99), science stickers, tbd)&nbsp;<br>2nd place prize: Science related poster and snacks&nbsp;<br>3rd place prize: Science related stickers and snacks/candy&nbsp;<br><br>** Money to be mostly spent on supplies if donations cannot be made and concession stand **&nbsp;<br>* Maybe with left over money I can splurge more on the 1st place prize *</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>- 5 to 8&nbsp;<br>- EX: Station 1 -- Title, TEKS or PK guidelines, materials, instructions, amount of people in the station at a given time, safety rules/equipment to consider.&nbsp;<br><br>- PK: Station 1&nbsp;<br>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; - Title: Describe that animal!&nbsp;<br>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; - PK Guideline: VI.B.1 -- the child: describes color, size, and shape of&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;organisms.&nbsp;<br>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;- Materials: Cut outs of different organisms, cut outs of descriptive words (big, small, furry, smooth, brown, grey, etc)&nbsp;<br>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;- Instructions: The teacher will allow the students to choose an animal cut out, once the cut out is chosen the students will read the descriptive words and match the words to the animal description. The chart will have a section for 'can', 'have', and 'are'. Each student will have the opportunity to write something down in one of the sections. Then they will place the cutout into the other 2 buckets that are labeled living and nonliving.
