         <description><![CDATA[<div>a priest was one of the highest on the social roles that was not a pharaoh<br><br>priests took care of temples and performed rituals,cleaned changed their clothing and fed sacred statues.  Before a priest enters a temple, they must bathe and put on special linen white sandals and garments.<br><br>Priests and Pharaohs would hold ceremonies to please the gods, Egyptian people beilieved that if the gods were angry, the nile would not flood,not depositing rich soil,affecting the growth of farmers crops,thus starving the people.  With that in their minds, the Pharaohs and Priests would try hard to keep the gods happy.</div>]]></description>
