Adab in Learning Knowledge

Anas ibn Malik reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said:

طَلَبُ الْعِلْمِ فَرِيضَةٌ عَلَى كُلِّ مُسْلِمٍ

Seeking knowledge is an obligation upon every Muslim.

1. Intention

We all need intention when seeking knowledge.

Is it to seek the pleasure of Allah or seeking knowledge to show off.

2. Manner

Have proper manner when the teacher is giving the lecture and respect the other people in the class.

Quran as The Book of Guidance

• Quran is the biggest miracle that was sent to Prophet Muhammad PBUH through Malaikat Jibril.

• First Surah that has been sent to Prophet Muhammad is Surah Al-’Alaq 1-5.

• Jibril came to Muhammad at a small cave of Hira’ at the peak of Jabl al Nur on 27 Ramadan.

“Even if all mankind and jinn came together to produce the equivalent of this Qur’an, they could not produce its equal, however much they helped each other.”

Today our Usrah topic is about the Pillar of Islam. We learn the Pillar of Islam through Hadith Jibril.

Hadith Jibril

• The asking of (angel) Jibril (Gabriel) from the Prophet (saws) about Iman, Islam, Ihsan, and the Knowledge of the Hour.

Iman in Allah is the Main one in

Pillars of Iman

• Iman in the existence of Allah

Allah created all of mankind to

have Iman in their Creator.

A part of creation cannot bring

itself into existence.

• Iman that Allah alone is the Lord without any partner

There is no Creator except Allah

To him alone belongs the

heavens and the earth

• Iman in his name and attributes

Fills the hearts with

humbleness and submissiveness to

Him.

Malaikat(angel)

Aishaa narrated:

The Messenger of Allah said, The angels were created from light, the jinn were created from a smokeless flame of fire .

• The number of angels is a number that cannot be
  enumerated except by Allah.

• Amongst them are the bearers of the Throne, the keepers of Paradise, the keepers of Hellfire, the guardians, the recorders, and others.

• Among them, seventy thousand angels pray daily in al-Bayt al-Ma'mur (the Frequented House); when they leave, they never to return to it ever again.

Iman with the kitab

-Belief that Allah revealed books to His prophets and messengers as a means of guidance for His slaves. They are from His actual Speech and whatever they contain is truth with no doubt in it whatsoever.

Allah has explained in the Qur'an that He revealed the following books:

• The Suhuf (Scriptures) of
  Ibrahim

• The Tawrah (Torah), which was the book that Allah revealed to Musa.

• The Zabur (Psalms), which was the book that Allah
  revealed to Dawud.

• The Injil {(Gospel), which was the book that Allah revealed to 'Isa.

• The Quran, which was the book that Allah revealed to Muhammad for all of mankind.

(rasul, qiyamah, qada qadar)

Rasul - A man that Choosen By Allah to receive Mukjizat from Allah and convey to the other people

• We need to believe that Allah has sent to every nation a messenger

• Every Prophet is a messenger but not vice-versa

Iman in Qiyamah(Last Day)

• The Last Day is The Day of Judgement in which Allah will resurrect all the human to be

Hisab.

Another name of The Last Day (Arabic)

• Yaumul Qiyamah

• Yaumul Hisab

• Yaumul Al-Zalzalah

• Yaumul Qariah

We should believe that we will be ask for all the thing that we made and we will be account for the good and bad deeds and will be rewarded or punish for all of that.

Iman in Qada and Qadar

Qadar - Allah's knowledge of everything in its appointed measure and written in the

Preserved Tablet (al-Lawh al-Mahfuz).

• Qadar is Allah's secret in creation and no one has excess to it

Pillar of Qadar including :

• Iman that Allah know all the thing including General and
  Specific thing

• Iman that all the thing is happen with the willing of Allah

• Iman that Allah has written all the things and will come to pass

• Iman that Allah is the Creator of everything

• Ihsan is that you worship God as if you see Him, for even though you don't see Him.

• Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him defines it as "to worship Allah as if you see Him." It's Ihsan.

• It's the most important level of worship that we all strive to reach

• To get this level of Ihsan we all need to keep God in our Heart of life

Signs of Qiyamah (Day of Judgment) in Islam:

Minor Signs (Already Happened or Happening)

1. Widespread dishonesty and corruption

2. Increase in immorality and indecency

3. Disobedience to parents

4. Trust being lost among people

5. Time feeling shorter

6. Frequent natural disasters

7. Widespread killing and violence

8. More women than men

9. Competition in building tall buildings

10. People ignoring religion for worldly gain

Major Signs (Yet to Happen)

1. Appearance of Dajjal (False Messiah)

2. Return of Prophet Isa (Jesus, peace be upon him)

3. Emergence of Imam Mahdi

4. The sun rising from the west

5. A huge smoke covering the earth

6. The beast of the earth (Dabbatul Ard) appearing

7. Three major landslides (East, West, and Arabian Peninsula)

8. A fire that gathers people for judgment

Mom - A woman who give birth to us and give unlimited love till jannah.

Dad - A man who care us from baby till jannah, the one who work hard to fulfill our need.

3 types to show respect to our parents

Qalbi (heart) - Love our parents, always remember them before doing something that can affect them.

Fi'li (act) - help them when they need help, care them when they sick.

Qauli(word) - Talk nicely to them, use appropiate word when talk to them.
