The script should make use of fully developed characters, and demonstrate a complete narrative following Todorov's theory. Once completed save the script as a PDF file and upload it under 'Task 1 - Scripting' on your Padlet.

You can work in groups to generate ideas and use each others developed characters, or, you can fully develop more of your own characters and use those. The focus for this task is to ensure that you accurately follow all of the correct storyboard conventions we looked at in class, as well as make appropriate choices when it comes to shots.

You have to create a fully illustrated guide (using screenshots and clear written explanations) on how to edit a sequence together. The guide must include: 
 
  • Folder structure and how to setup
  • Importing files to premiere
  • Correctly logging files
  • Moving the selected files to the timeline
  • Editing the files on the timeline (cutting, trimming, separating/deleting audio, adding titles etc.)
  • Exporting the file from Premiere in the correct format.
 
Once this is complete you should save it as a PDF file and upload it onto your padlet under Task 3.

- 4 Close Ups
- 4 Medium Shots 
- 4 Wide Shots 
Now add to these: 
- 4 Extreme close-ups (you’ll need to zoom in as much as you can and focus) 
- 4 Shots of someone mid air (you’ll need to adjust the shutter speed here)
- 4 Shots of someone with the background out of focus (adjust aperture)

- Confidence, a conversation scene written for you by Tash
- A journey of two characters that are travelling towards each other, in separate shots. 

A well edited shot reverse shot scene should flow perfectly; no jarring, stuttering, or variation in pacing. 
Use 'sound bridges' to help mask your cuts. You can use ambient sound underneath the edit s well, in order to ensure consistency. 

In your conversation scene, you should choose your shots carefully, and ensure you use a 2 shot where appropriate, medium shots, and cut to close-ups where they have effect.

Your edits should be full of technically accurate shots, shot on manual mode. I am looking at your:
- Framing
- Exposure (Aperture, Shutter Speed, ISO)
- Colour (White Balance)
- Focus
