Subconscious Thought: Much of our thinking occurs below the level of conscious awareness. This includes automatic behaviors, habitual actions, and rapid decision-making that happen without deliberate thought, such as when driving a familiar route or recognizing a face.

Abstract Thinking: Humans have the unique ability to think abstractly—considering concepts and ideas that aren't directly tied to sensory experiences. This allows for creativity, theoretical reasoning, and the ability to imagine scenarios that haven't been directly experienced.

Thinking is a deeply interconnected process that draws from our senses, memories, emotions, and logical reasoning. It's the foundation for our ability to learn, adapt, and engage with the world.

1. Start with a Simple Explanation:

Say: "Thinking is like having a conversation in your mind. It's what happens when we ask ourselves questions, try to figure things out, or imagine something fun."

Example: "When you decide what game to play or how to build something with blocks, you are thinking!"

2. Use Visuals and Analogies:

Brain as a Control Center: Explain that the brain is like a computer or a control center that helps us think. You can use a picture of a brain and explain that it helps us solve problems, make choices, and remember things.

Train of Thought: Use the idea of a "train of thought" to explain how one idea leads to another, like the cars on a train are connected. You can even draw a train with different thoughts as the train cars.

Thinking Hats: Use the idea of “thinking hats” to show how we think in different ways, like using a "problem-solving hat," "creative hat," or "memory hat."

3. Make it Interactive:

Game of “Guess What I’m Thinking”: Play a game where you think of something and the kids have to ask questions to guess what it is. This will show them how thinking involves asking questions and solving puzzles.

Mind Map Activity: Have them create a "thought cloud" by writing down what they're thinking and connecting it with lines to other related thoughts. This can help them see how thoughts are connected.

4. Relatable Examples:

Problem Solving: "Imagine you're building a puzzle, but you don’t know where all the pieces go at first. Your brain helps you figure out where each piece fits."

Perception is the first step in the thinking process. It provides the essential sensory information that our brains use to form concepts, recall memories, solve problems, and make decisions. By perceiving the world accurately and efficiently, we are better equipped to think critically, creatively, and effectively in all aspects of life.

I tried to using five different sense to observing informations in external environment. In my observational drawing, i tried to pretend as a view from my sensory. Visualized when people smell, touch, hear. Thinking about what feeling coming to our brain before we haven't see it through on eyes.

That’s important, because all the evidence shows that creativity and inventiveness are crucial for personal well-being, happiness and success.

Anorak Magazine, the ‘happy mag for kids’ is aimed at boys and girls aged between 6 and 12 years old. DOT is aimed at pre-schoolers.

Visual patterns inspire ideas, sounds evoke emotions, and smells trigger memories, all contributing to learning and creativity. Engaging multiple senses enhances understanding and stimulates imagination, making sensory input a key part of intellectual and emotional development. By understanding how our senses shape our thoughts, we can use them to foster curiosity, creativity, and effective learning.

Sensory play is important for youngsters because it helps to build neural pathways that promote creativity. Children can process information and develop problem-solving skills more efficiently when they see all of their senses.

However, there were areas for improvement. My initial drafts and internal proofreading lacked thoroughness, and the core value of the story was not clearly communicated in the early stages. Although revisions improved the outcome, the separation of visual displays, text, and color references during client presentations created confusion. Additionally, challenges in color consistency during printing emphasized the need for more rigorous testing and proofreading to ensure quality results.

Overall, the knowledge and skills I gained from this project will guide me in navigating industry standards and integrating my artistic vision into future creations. The lessons learned from these challenges will help me refine my approach and deliver better results in similar projects.
