Armentrout  is a mystery novel that leaves the readers in suspense until everything is reveled. The setting begins on March 12, 2014 on an unfamiliar, unfriendly street with tall trees, overgrown weeds, and houses with no front doors. Samantha Franco is the main character that has lost her memories of her entire life. While Samantha was found her friend, Cassie is still missing and she has no idea on what happened to her friend or herself. As the story goes on Samantha is trying to remember her memories, while trying not to go back to being the mean girl everyone knew her as before. When Samantha regains her memory the person who killed Cassie is the last person she expected, and he is going to make sure that Samantha doesn't say anything, even if she is his daughter. 
I would give this book 4 stars, because it was well written and left me in suspense through out the entire book. I liked how Samantha realized that the way she was before was mean and wrong and is trying to be nice to people now and not just go back to being the rude girl. I liked that she was trying to get back her memory to bring the killer to justice for killing Cassie. I didn't like how she was impatient with how things were not going well for her in getting back her memory.    A: "I didn't know how to react; I didn't remember her at all. All I could feel was that i hope they can find her for her family."

 A: "I felt awful, I couldn't believe that I was so mean to the people around, just because they didn't have money."

  A: "I was terrified, I didn't know who ti was from and it was under my pillow."

   A: "I felt sad for her family, because her mom lost her daughter and I didn't know how to feel for me, because I still didn't remember her."

   A:"Scared and I felt that I had gone crazy and did't know what to do."
7. When Ms. Winchester said you were the same as him, what were you feeling?'
 A:"Very confused, I wanted to know who she was talking about."
8. " What was going through your mind when everyone thought you killed Cassie?" 
 A: "Sad and I thought that there was no way I could kill Cassie, but with how everyone was describing my past self it was getting harder to think that I didn't kill her, as much as that seemed crazy to think."
9. " What were you feeling when you finally remembered who killed Cassie?"
 A: "Shocked and very sad for Cassie, I couldn't believe it was my father that killed her and then left me at the bottom of the cliff after I fell thinking I was dead and didn't wan't to try to save me."
10. " When you realized your dad was also Cassie's dad how did you feel about it?"
