'I started using film after discovering the works of great photographers in the past. The result you get on film has a certain aesthetic that you can't really get on digital. The colours and grain seem to draw me in despite some of the downsides.'
2. 'Yes I do know many. Lots of my closest friends shoot film or have started to convert. I think the popularity is growing again Most have similar reasons to mind above. Theres also something exciting about the uncertainty and excitement from getting the scans back from the lab.'
3. 'Nope! I started about two years ago.'
4. 'The two bigs ones are not being able to see your work in real time and the cost.'
'I have made many mistakes shooting film simply because you don't know what mistakes you are making until you get the scans back. Then you have to reflect on what caused those mistakes. With digital you can undergo that process during the shoot itself.'
