1)https://www.edutopia.org/article/leveraging-technology-support-students-needs
https://www.forbes.com/sites/forbestechcouncil/2018/03/28/cutting-edge-education-13-ways-to-leverage-technology-for-learning/?sh=232d75463919
2) I feel as though the first article would definitely have to be an opinion article and also descriptive study. It provides ways that they feel are innovating when it comes to teaching with technology as well as install information regarding websites to use when teaching online. As for the second article, I feel it is mainly based off opinion. The reason for this being that it is not very factual and provides little to no research regarding the topic.
3) Both seem very credible. The first one is providing me with facts and opinions that I feel like I can trust. The second article is an extremely well know magazine. I believe Forbes would not have published it if it was not reliable.
4) These findings would be very applicable considering the learning environment we are in now. Everything is now based off the internet; Google has taken over. We need a better understanding of what it means to teach online, especially if we wish to be educators.

1. The best way to learn in my opinion is through something hands on, therefore the objective I agree with most is the Active Learning objective.
2. The subject that I feel is best for Active Learning is definitely math. Lessons using building blocks to add and subtract or coins to count money is very beneficial to children learning math. These hands on methods provide a more fun learning experience.
3. I could provide YouTube videos of someone using the blocks to help the students visualize how they are suppose to use the blocks.

1) In all my classes this semester, projectors are used to project the PowerPoints and slides onto the board. In my biology class there is a big projector board in the center of the class, however there is also TVs in both corners of the class showing the PowerPoint as well.
2. These slides are important because it helps students read and visualize the information rather than just listen to what the professor is saying. Now they can listen and visualize at the same time to retain more information.
3. My math class involves a lot of critical thinking. We were given a project where we had to create our own number system and this gave us a chance to use what was learned in class and make something our own.

1. "Learning is promoted when new knowledge is demonstrated to learners." I took choir every year of high school and it was very easy to sing the corrects notes when the teacher would demonstrate the notes for each part. It's better to hear the notes played rather than to read them off the paper.
2. Using the same principle from my previous answer, I can implement these in all the classes I will teach in the future. Students learn much easier when they are given a demonstration. In classes, such as math, seeing an example can help you understand how to solve the next problem. Demonstrations help you form and idea on how to solve the rest of the given problems.

1) When it comes to web filtering I definitely believe it is necessary for certain websites. Some websites are just inappropriate for school and just in general. Blocking games on students computers I think is too far. At my high school they blocked the game "snake" to the point where you couldn't even look up the word snake. I think, depending on the circumstance, we shouldn't block game websites like "cool math" from our students computers.
2) The website, wavecrest.net, shows what web content is filtered for employees.

"Filter based on the Website content category.

Configure policy exceptions for different users and groups.

Use white & black lists to restrict or allow access to certain sites.

Enable users to bypass a blocking action with coaching."

3) Web filtering stops accesses to certain URLS or websites. In some cases it is needed, however in others it is too extensive. Overall, I think it really depends on the circumstances.
