         <description><![CDATA[<div>Homework and Practice&nbsp;<br>- I plan to assign approximately an hour of homework a day for my students. I believe that because 30 minutes is just a recommendation, I want to teach my students to be high achievers. I believe that part of the 30 minutes can be attributed to simply gathering one's thoughts on the presented task.&nbsp;<br>- I will decide what to assign based on common core standards and by observing students needs and abilities.&nbsp;<br>- I will create a homework plan and rubric to include in my syllabus for students to follow throughout the year</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Nonlinguistic Representations&nbsp;<br>- KWL chart was very helpful in getting my mind thinking about the information being discussed in the presentation.&nbsp;<br>- The presentation discussed several different nonlinguistic representations like graphic organizers, TPEs, and pictographs.&nbsp;<br>- Wrapped up the lesson with the KWL. It was nice to see the full-circle effect of my KWL question being answered during the lesson lecture.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Cooperative Learning<br>I really loved watching this presentation, and learned a lot of very valuable information in regards to cooperative teaching strategies. It was helpful to learn that small groups should remain around 2 - 3 people per group. Also, I think its really notable that educators must be sure not to overuse or underuse cooperative learning practices.&nbsp;I absolutely plan on incorporating small group, poetry activities into my future, English classroom.</div>]]></description>
