The projections indicate a temperature increase of 1°C to 3°C and a 69% rise in rainfall intensity, which will slightly affect the current flood risk distribution. Presently, 95.91% of the area is categorized under low to moderate flood risk, with a minimal expected decrease to 95.75% in the future. High and very high flood-risk areas, currently around 3% of the province, are expected to see minimal change, with only one additional barangay moving to very high risk. The study highlights the need for improved disaster risk planning and management, given the projected changes.
