Within a classroom, an interactive board is not less than a blessing for a teacher and students. It unites different resource at one place. For example, being a math teacher, if I want to teach plane symmetry than it would be the challenge for me to draw the shapes and pass the planes through them. Alternatively, I have to book an audio / video resource room for the better understanding of learners. Booking venue, taking classes there and making students attentive would be a time taken and hectic practice. On the other hand, an interactive board in the class can provide the following facilities without leaving the classroom. 

i.      White board for writing
ii.    A desktop interface connected with a computer
iii.   Online video streaming like Youtube.com
iv.  A platform to conduct a video chat on Skype 
v.    A platform to show presentation
vi. A platform to deliver lesson through simulations like PhET and much more…
