Basically this topic talks about the idea of using time instead of money to pay services. For example: a person can fix cars and a the other does gardening. So they can exchange services with time, that is the person number one goes to fix the car of person number two who takes care of the garden of the person number one.
This topic also talks about the sprit of solidarity that is the feeling that is lacking nowadays.
We think that is a good idea because the world doesn't need
to be driven only by money, besides is one way to join people together.
Ana Costa nº1 12ºI
Mariana Marques nº6 12ºJ

Teens are constantly bombarded with advertising on T.V, magazines, internet. As they are vulnerable and likely to be possible consumers, companies tend to make publicity directed to them. The solution to fight these bad influencies is to control what teenagers see every day on the media. There are several examples, of bad publicity, such as tobacco and alcohol, food or sex. So, adults have to talk to their children, explain the negative messages of publicity in order to prevent future problematic behaviors.

Miguel Simões, nº8, 12ºJ
Miguel Brito, nº9, 12ºJ

Some of these techniques are:
- Family union: Teenagers report to images of happy families;
- Celebrity: Celebrities are used in many advertisings to convince teens to buy a particular product because those famous people use it;
- Bandwagon effect: Teenagers tend to do what their friends do in order to fit in.
