My name is Oğulcan and my students would be 16 years old. I choose SDG1: Poverty. In this context, students have understanding of social issues and are exploring topics related to poverty.

Pedagogy: Experiental Learning

Teaching Activity: Roleplay

Students participate in a poverty roleplay where they are assigned different socio-economic statuses and roles within a simulated community. They experience firsthand the challenges and constraints faced by individuals living in poverty, such as limited access to education, healthcare, and employment opportunities. Through reflection and discussion, students analyze the systemic factors contributing to poverty and explore potential solutions to address these issues.
