If we talk about public transport we HAVE small and big buses like Metrovia. And if we talk about private transport we HAVE taxiS, motorbikeS, bikeS, planeS, and so one.
Most people ride a bike to the University, (If you're brave) I think is faster than the bus or taxi but you have to be careful and strong.
Some people take a bus to go wherever THEY want and I think that is the most popular transport in our city.
Guayaquil is very crowded not only FOR people but private cars and transport buses, that's why we see A lot of security on streets like guards, traffic police OFFICERS and also, a lot of sings everywhere that facilitates MOVEMENT to people.

Guayaquil, being the first economic center of Ecuador, is united to the rest of the country by important and correctly treated transport routes. In Guayaquil, people often take the bus to COMMUTE to their jobs or schools. I live in the south of the city, and I always travel by bus to go to my university.
Buses are always full of people, and for the weather of Guayaquil it is always hot inside the bus. The cost of the ticket for the general public is $ 0.30. Special people, students, and ELDERLY pay $ 0.12.
We all know that if we travel by bus we must be careful, because the bus is very insecure. SOMETIMES THERE ARE STEALINGS inside the bus.

Some people take a taxi, when we have AN emergency or when we want to go safer, the taxis in Guayaquil are yellow and some taxis have air conditioning, security cameraS, AN emergency button and THE DRIVER'S BASIC information.
In our case, WE hardly ever take taxiS because we don't have money and we prefer to take a bus or walk to get to our place (university, home, gym, park, etc)

In Guayaquil, if you need to go away from Ecuador to ANOTHER country, you can get on a plane and fly away from the airport ✈.

For example: there ARE metro BUSES, cars, busES, canoeS, helicOpterS, tuk tukS, vans, motorbikeS etc.
In Guayaquil many people go by motorbike because it's very fast but also very dangerous, my partner Lilian always uses the metro, the metro system is a good way of public transportation in Guayaquil. It's faster and safer than regular buses but getting on and off might be complicated in rush hours because it can get very crowded. 
She usually useS the metro system but when she is IN A hurry, she preferS to take a taxi to go TO the university.
I live in the north, in a place far away. I usually get in a car AT perimetral HIGHWAY and theN I GO BY bus to go TO the university. I always have to leave my house two hours before to be able to arrive on time at any place and many times I feel very tired and would like to have money TO TAKE A taxi FROM my house.

I can SAY that Guayaquil haS so MANY cars. The People usually take a bus or go BY metro via station and a few people prefer to use bicycles to transport.
I think that Guayaquil is not a city to ride a bike because it's very hot and if you wanT TO go to your work ridding a bike you're going to SWEAT. I usually take a bus because is cheaper than take a taxi. A thing that I don't like is that the bus is so slow because in Guayaquil there are so much traffic for that reason I usually sleep in the bus AND I don't have troubles with that... Actually I can sleep in different places.
When I have to go to the university I have to go out one hour before of my class.
Sometimes when my mom DOESN'T use the car I get In and drive to the university.
I like that because I arrive soon but the bad thing is that sometimes it's difficult to find a parking. The most accessible and old transportation IS buses, buses are cheap but at the same time a little dangerous.
ANOTHER type of transport IS taxis, are a little more expensive but are faster.
A few years ago a new type of transportation was implemented in the city which has its own lane and makes exclusive stops.
I usually take a bus because it's cheapper or when I´m IN a hurry, I take a taxi to go to the university.
