Jake has a sister named Alexis who babysits for the neighbors kids who are wild and crazy quadruplets aka as the Quinlan Quads. Jake's Dad decides to sign Jake and his sister up for "Camp Wild Survival." Camp Wild Survival is a reality TV show about survivng in the wilderness for a week, the camp is ran by a celebrity Thunder Banks. Thunder is Alexis and the quads idol, and cannot wait to go on the show. Jake on the other hand is not excited at all. Once they got to Camp Wild Survival, they were broke into groups, Jake, his Dad, sister and the Quads were on a team with Jake's Dad being the leader of the pack. During the week long camp, things didn't always go so well for team Bali Aga(Jake's team name.) They learn things about the "fabulous Thunder Banks" that makes Alexis think twice about her idol. Jake proves to his Dad that he is not just a couch potato and he can handle things pretty well in the wilderness. The final days of the camp become a competition with all the other teams there, Jake's team gets a new leader, somebody quite's the group, and team Bali Aga, starts strong! To find out who wins the final competition you will have to read the book.
