Setting: Stratford 

Conflict: In the begging of the story Cooper moves to a new town and is new phone starts to glitch and it eventually has a person from the 1500’s in the phone. Another conflict was when Cooper and Roddy had to steal the original manuscript of Romeo and Juliet.

Characters: Cooper, Roddy, Jolie, Brock



The setting and conflict affect the characters the most: If Cooper didn’t move he wouldn’t have got a phone which means he wouldn’t have meet Roddy and if he didn’t move he wouldn’t have meet his other friends.

I haven’t had that happen to me. But I did have empathy for him and I was happy when Roddy came in his life. I have empathy for Roddy because he was getting introduced to stuff that he was confused about and that happens to me when I find out about new inventions.

 Cooper can talk to someone from the 1500s one his new phone. I have never done that. I am pretty sure no one else has done that either. And the person from the phone is called Roddy, and he helps Cooper. But most of the time his advice isn't really helpful. 


Cooper has been bullied at school because he is the new kid. I have moved to new schools but I have never been bullied.


Cooper has a sister and his dad is in the military. I don’t have any siblings and my dad never went to the military, but my grandpa was in the navy.
