         <description><![CDATA[<div><br>It was created in 1968 by a commission. By order of the City Council although it was never approved at the municipal plenary session. The castle of the palace of Terrassa present in the flag is the traditional symbol of the city from the medieval era.          <description><![CDATA[<div><br></div><div>One of the legends and translations of Terrassa and of all of Catalonia is Saint George's Day. The legend is about a dragon that is eaten every day two sheep, when there were no more sheep, the people decided that each day someone would have to eat, but the day came, when he touched the daughter of the king. And the king weeping implored that they did not eat it, but the town refused, when the dragon was going to eat the princess wing, appeared the knight Sant Jordi, to save her. Sant Jordi shot his spear towards the heart of the dragon, killing him. All of a sudden from the dragon's blood, a rose came out, Saint George took the rose and gave it to the princess, so on Saint George's Day, men give a rose to women and women a book to men</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>LANGUAGE:<br><br>In Terrassa, Catalan, Spanish and English are spoken.<br><br>HISTORY:<br><br>Terrassa was found between 5,000 and 1,800 BC, by our ancestors who lived in the Neolithic age.<br><br>When the Romans won the soldiers of Terrassa, the Romans put Egara to him.<br><br>At 1,384, thanks to a privilege of King Pere III, the Council of the University of the City of Terrassa was established, the city government was suspended with the decrees of New Plant Decrees.<br>The first great event of the 20th century that the city lived was the annexation of the town of San Pedro.<br><br>After the Civil War the anti-fascist opposition would begin to be relevant at the end of the 1940s, channeled by the workers' movements. One of the changes that the city experienced during this time was the growth of the population.</div>]]></description>
