 I thought i was ready for the world, I thought I could handle any struggles or obstacles that came my way, but the truth is, I can't. No matter how many times I tell myself I'm ready, it wont matter, not unless i really believe that I am ready. 
When I stepped foot out of the taxi earlier this morning, my heart felt like it was going to explode, and it wasn't because of the excitement, or the joy. That particular feeling was because of the fear I felt. The fear that this crazy, scary and cruel world would chew me up and spit me out.
I thought I was ready, but it turns out I'm not.
