This links to Geography because Seoul is the capital of South Korea and Jeju Island is a small island off the coast of South Korea. I stayed in Myeongdong, a district in Seoul where I saw a lot of built-up area and tall buildings in Seoul, including shopping malls, skyscrapers and hotels, but there was not as much on Jeju Island. Mainly, I could see beaches lining at the sides of the roads, and the only buildings that I saw were the houses and airports, as well as the little cafe houses located near the beach. It is located at Stamford Road which is a few minutes walk to many shopping malls and other places so it is definitely a rural place. I think it might be recreational as it is just a hotel with an old history.
Singapore is the 52nd smallest in the world but there are 78 Capitol Kempinski hotels worldwide.

This links to Geography because Cameron Highlands is one of the 11 districts of Pahang. I stayed in Tanah Rata, a small town in Cameron Highlands where I saw many built-up areas like shopping malls. However, there were also some areas in Cameron Highlands which was rural, especially in areas where there was more agricultural land such as the BOH Tea Plantation and the Big Red Strawberry farm. In Batam, I stayed at Sambau, Nongsa. Compared to the more built-up area around the shopping malls, it was more in the north side of Batam where there were very few buildings and not many built-up areas. However, as I entered the city area of Batam and visited the many malls in the area, I had seen a lot of hotels and taller buildings. The roads there were also more congested with cars. Both Cameron Highlands and Batam are quite similar in the sense that they contain both rural and urban areas. Incheon had many tourists attractions but was quiet and relaxed. we went to the jajangmyeon noodle ( black bean) museum and in Seoul we visited the famous amusement park 'lotte world'. It was winter in Korea so there was no outdoor recreational activities but there were many people shopping inside the gigantic built up shopping malls. We also visited the Gyeongbokgung Palace which was Korea's most famous landmark. Korea is coastal as it is mostly surrounded by water and has 2,413 kilometres of coast line along three seas We also went to the coldest part in Korea which was in the mountainous areas which we took a cable car up to the top of the mountain. My first location at Kyushu was Kurakawaso. It was a rural area as it had a low population density. There were not many people in that town. Kurakawaso was an onsen town. I was really shocked when I felt the hot onsen water despite the cold weather. This links to geography because there is science behind how the onsen is hot : Onsen water is geothermally heated beneath the ground and rises to the surface bubbling hot. 

My final destination at Kyushu was a city called Fukuoka. It was an urban area as there was a high population density and there were tourists all around. There were numerous shopping malls in that city, the buildings were tall and they were also lit up at night.
