On the discussion, I have learned various things or concepts that are related to the topic "bias". Some of these are the factors that can affect the decision-making of a person. These factors are personal factors, cultural factors, social factors, information, and psychological factors. I am also taught
the meaning of bias. In short explanation, bias is being one-sided, a prejudice in favor of something, being against the other side, or having an unfair judgment. A category of biases, cognitive biases, are repeated patterns of thinking that can lead to unreasonable conclusions. I also learned the guide or strategies in able to identify biased sources using different questions, the way how to avoid being biased, and the six hats methods by Edward de Bono which is a parallel thinking process that helps analysts overcome their assumptions. Each hat represents a role. Blue hat for process, white hat for facts, red hat for feelings, green hat for creativity, yellow hat for benefits, and black hat for cautions.

I discovered that numerous angles/elements of life influence our decision making like our own elements, social variables and the others. I'm edified with regards to what bias is. Bias is the point at which an assertion mirrors an inclination, inclination, or bias possibly in support of an individual, article, or thought. Quite a bit of what you read and hear communicates a predisposition. Bias is the point at which an author or speaker utilizes a choice of realities, selection of words, and the quality and tone of portrayal, to convey a specific inclination or mentality. Its motivation is to convey a specific disposition or perspective toward the subject. As you read or pay attention to one-sided materials, remember the accompanying inquiries :What realities has the creator excluded?,What extra data is essential?,What words make positive or bad introductions?,What impression could I have assuming various words had been utilized?. I likewise figured out how to recognize one-sided sources, the inquiries I will pose on myself and the qualities of it that have a major commitment in deciding one-sided sources . One-sided data attempts to alter your perspective, your thought process. Monitoring predisposition or bias and knowing how to recognize, dissect, and acclimatize one-sided data appropriately is an ability to be loved. It places you responsible for your thought process rather than the print and media world. Notwithstanding that is the Six Hat Method or an equal considering strategy Edward De Bono. I discovered that I ought to consider the six caps when I am settling on a choice. Blue cap for process, white cap for realities, the yellow cap for benefits, red cap for feelings/sentiments, green cap for innovativeness and the dark cap for alerts. The six reasoning caps is a device to support the usefulness of imaginative speculation by sharing the various styles of thinking into six "caps": rationale, feeling, alert, hopefulness, inventiveness, and control. Every individual, or group, assumes the job of a cap, guaranteeing that all perspectives and styles are covered. The topic discussed will help and be a powerful technique to make decisions considering different point of view.

What a fabulous day of learning! I learned numerous things about our topic for today which is EXAMINING BIASES. Bias is defined as, prejudice in favor or against in a specific side. Our decisions affect how we can be biased in every circumstances. There can be situations where we can be biased because of what we believe and what we think is true. But that is not helpful at all, we should always see and examine each side before we create a decision or actions. Here are the factors that affects us in every decision we make; the Information, Personal, Cultural, Social, and Psychological Factors. Being biased is not just being bad, it can be good in some situations such as choosing the brand of our things at home. We are choosing the good quality than the low price products because we know that we can prevent man made disasters and other problems. But, we should always remember that biased can be based on the person experience, perspective and beliefs. There are no strong evidence or prove that those information are true. There are guides that shows different types of bias we can encounter and how we can know if those information can be trusted. Those are the following: Where does the information came from? Is it opinionated? Is the information persuasive? How does it persuade?. It is very hard to know and understand if a specific selection is biased, it can be disguised to be an informative. Analysis Challenges can be beneficial in understanding if there is a biased, developing many arguments in different sides of an specific topic is one of the process of this challenge. For example, in the world of social media, there is a news that tells about how the senior citizen man steals a mango in the owner of the land where the mango tree is planted. If we didn't analyze the news and gives a fast assumption, we can accuse the old man stealing the mango. One of the importance of examining biased, is that we can analyze first before we accuse or give an assumption. It is proven that the man didn't steal anything because he planted the tree and according to his arguments, the land where the tree was planted is in his property. Those information was officially proved by the Police Officers in the area. I also learned about the Six Hats Method by Edward de Bono. It is a parallel process that helps us to overcome our assumptions, biases and heuristics. It is a fun method because the members of a team is assigned with different colored hats with different meanings on it. This can show the hypothesis and information in different angles of the topic.

Examining biases is very beneficial in every situation in our life. It can help us to easily understand and analyze if the specific information is true or can be trusted. In this modern era, where social media is widely used, we can't deny the fact that we can read some news that is fake or biased. This lesson can help every person to analyze first before giving an assumptions or decisions. Lets examine biases in every information/news we read. In times where we all used social media to gained information and knowledge, we should spread unbiased news. And that's what I have learned during our discussion.

WHAT HAVE I LEARNED?

After watching the video tutorial about Biases and Decision Making, I realized multiple elements that classify the discussed topic.

What is Bias? I have learned that Bias is prejudice or an unbalanced tendency to believe some people, thoughts, ideas, and more that are better than others. Biases are commonly based on stereotypes regarding people based on their subcategories. It can be harmful to realistic outcomes and can ruin or change someone's life. People usually have no idea that they hold and use their biases. People tend to choose their decisions rapidly without thinking properly and figuring out the consequences about it.

There is also a category of biases and these are called Cognitive Biases. If you ask me, what are Cognitive Biases? Cognitive Biases are repetitive techniques of thinking that can result in a wrong conclusion. It can create more contradictions and can build up incorrect reasoning. People usually use this bias for making quick decisions. There are numerous reasons why is scarce attention, being pressured socially, experiencing passionate inputs, and more. It is significant to be aware of doing cognitive biases and fight against their effects as soon as possible.

Next is the Six Hats Method. What is the 'Six Hats Method'? The Six Hats Method is a way that can help analysts to avoid biases, hasty assumptions, and risky conclusions that can lead to inaccurate answers. This was created by Edward de Bono as a parallel thinking process for decision-makers. I wonder, what are the Six Hats? Blue Hat depicts process and being in control of something. The White Hat symbolizes facts and truth to determine what will happen after your decision is chosen. Next is the Red Hat which represents emotion and feelings. Another hat is the Green Hat is creativity and tells about changing people or objects in a situation. The Yellow Hat is about the importance of the decision and makes you think about the bright side of it while the Black Hat displays cautiousness and carefulness about the decision you will make. This Six Hat Method will be helpful to us especially choosing between hard and risky decisions.

Because of the lesson given to me, I found many different perspectives in making decisions in my life, whether it be trivial things or important. I learned the meaning of bias and its advantages and disadvantages. Bias is defined as a disproportionate weight in prefer of or in opposition to a concept or thing, normally in a manner that is closedminded, prejudicial, or unfair. Biases, although sometimes helpful, can still lead to danger as it is almost based on stereotypes which leads to reckless decisions that predict the outcome of the future. Which is why I find the six hats method by Edward de bono quite helpful in making decisions. The six hats method include different colored hats for different perspectives in order to make a decision. Yellow for positivity, white for neutrality, red for emotions, black for pessimism, green for creativity, and blue for organization. Because of the different perspectives provided, one is able to make a decision that is rational, practical and most importantly, unbiased. Unbiased information is important because not only do the people deserve the truth, the decision they make can possibly change someone’s life for better or for worse.

I have so many insight learned from this topic but let's define bias first.

According to Oxford Languages, Bias is a prejudice in favor of or against one thing, person, or group compared with another, usually in a way considered to be unfair. Bias can be found anywhere from people’s opinions to different articles. Bias is a scientific behaviour within us, it can either benefit or harm us depending on how and what is our statement of our bias. Harmful biases are more on one sided and based on generalized stereotypes and one sided opinions rather than using reliable sources, these type of bias are trying to persuade an audience to agree to them because it’s their opinion and some people agree with them and using unverified facts and sources to justify their viewpoint. Biased sources can be harmful as it can spread misinformation for it is based on one’s viewpoint rather than a variety of people’s viewpoint.

Biases are affected to the approach of a person to a certain topic, mind set and many more factors. Other factors are personal factors, social factors, information etc. These are essentially an influence to a person’s decision making.

Other than that are the six thinking hats, this method is invented by Edward De Bono, this parallel thinking method can help an individual overcome their biases by relying it on different hats that have different perspectives, Blue hat for process meaning you facilitate the excercise, White hat for facts meaning you tend to be logical and your based to reliable information, Yellow hat for benefits meaning your optimistic, Black hat for caution meaning you play like the pessimist finding all the caution from an option, Green hat for creativity meaning you tend to find alternatives and Red hat for emotions meaning your opinions are based on your feelings to that perspective.

Bias is a natural thing inside all of us, it is neither helpful it harmful but it’s about how you deliver you bias. We must respect each other’s opinion and bias to a topic and support it with reliable information.

During the span of the discussion, I realized that many assertions are inaccurate or biased. They use bias to communicate with and influence folks. As a consequence, I must be wary of comments that are intended to affect me, and I must seek for numerous factors that will prevent me from being prejudiced as a result.

The first thing I think about is how I can manage or handle a situation. The second aspect I analyze is logic; I look for potential consequences that could go wrong if I made a bad judgment in the situation. The third aspect I consider is being sensible and objective, because looking at the facts allows me to make quick decisions. The fourth thing that I evaluate is emotion, I think about how other people will react. The sixth component I examine is optimism; I try to see the bright side of every scenario. The sixth and last factor I evaluate is creativity; I employ appropriate language in statements to minimize bias.

I'm making use of these concerns because I don't want to be seen as biased or to hurt anyone's feelings. This is also something I use in order to prevent misunderstandings on any given occasion or situation.

Some biases are helpful but it is mostly used negatively nowadays. biases can lead to rash decisions whether its positive or negative. Bias are group of people with same feelings and thoughts about one thing or about someone.

Because o this lesson, I realized that we people are biased sometimes. We are influencing them to make their decisions and to agree with us. Being biased always is not good to us. We need to have our own opinion about something. We need to be wise at making decisions and avoid being fooled by other people's bad opinions. Observing the situation very well and having our own opinion for both sides can help us avoid being bias. Making decisions are important to us people nowadays. Using different hats in making decisions will do. Every hats have different roles. Black hat for cautions, yellow hat for benefits, green hat for creativity, red hat for feelings, white hat for facts, and blue hat for the process. These hats can bring us to a wise decision making without being biased.

After listening to our lesson, I learned that bias is a predilection or inclination toward or against something or someone. Some biases are beneficial and favorable. Biases, on the other hand, are frequently founded on stereotypes rather than genuine understanding of a person or scenario. Such cognitive shortcuts, whether favorable or bad, might lead to prejudgments that lead to impulsive decisions or discriminatory actions. Cognitive biases are a type of bias that involves recurrent patterns of thought that can lead to inaccurate or illogical conclusions. People use cognitive biases to make faster decisions, but those decisions aren't always correct. Faulty memory, insufficient attention, natural restrictions on the brain's ability to comprehend information, emotional input, social influences, and even aging are all prevalent factors. It's critical to be aware of cognitive biases while evaluating research - or even one's own thoughts and behaviors - and to try to mitigate their effects whenever possible.

I also thought that by adding influences into the decision-making process that are different from the decision itself, biases distort and disturb objective contemplation of an issue. Most of the time, we aren't conscious of the prejudices that can influence our decisions. Confirmation, anchoring, halo effect, and overconfidence are the most prevalent cognitive biases. An unconscious association, belief, or attitude toward any social group is known as implicit bias. People frequently attach certain features or characteristics to all members of a particular group due to implicit biases, a process known as stereotyping. It's vital to keep in mind that implicit prejudices work almost totally behind the scenes. Implicit biases are less intentional and controllable than explicit biases and prejudices.

Examining bias is important in decision-making. Our biases influence how we interact with others. If we choose not to interact with others because of a bias, we may miss out on opportunities to learn, connect, and grow. Our decisions have repercussions. Unconscious bias is a stereotype about persons that everyone develops without even recognizing it. Unconscious prejudice takes place in the backdrop of our minds. It's critical to become conscious of our prejudice in order to make the best personal and professional judgments. You can take the implicit association exam to find out where you should concentrate your efforts. Paying attention to your actions and decisions is the most important approach to become aware. It's critical to question and comprehend your own perspectives. Recognize that your perspective of the world is shaped by your past experiences.

Six hats method: The method of Edward de Bono are a parallel thinking thinking approach that assists analysts in overcoming their assumptions, biases, and heuristics. Members of a team are given a "role" to play, as well as a cap to wear. They can assess a theory from a variety of perspectives: neutral, emotive, creative, optimist, and pessimist. Members of a team can see the limitations and advantages of each function by making the way information is processed visible to everyone.

What a productive and a pleasant day of learning! This discussion allowed me to improve my “fact-finder” mind, and enhance my decision-making skills even further. At the very start of the discussion, my mind generated questions that are related to our topic. What is bias? How do you identify if a source is biased? What causes people to be biased? Can a person be unbiased? Can biases really affect our lives? All of those questions became a guide for me to understand the lesson even further. And those questions will also be a guide for me to write this “essay”, as you might call.

First, what is bias? A bias is a tendency, inclination, or prejudice toward or against something or someone. Some biases are positive and helpful—like choosing to only eat foods that are considered healthy or staying away from someone who has knowingly caused harm. But biases are often based on stereotypes, rather than actual knowledge of an individual or circumstance. Whether positive or negative, such cognitive shortcuts can result in prejudgments that lead to rash decisions or discriminatory practices. A category of biases, known as cognitive biases, are repeated patterns of thinking that can lead to inaccurate or unreasonable conclusions. Cognitive biases may help people make quicker decisions, but those decisions aren’t always accurate. Some common reasons why include flawed memory, scarce attention, natural limits on the brain’s ability to process information, emotional input, social pressures, and even aging. When assessing research—or even one's own thoughts and behaviors—it’s important to be aware of cognitive biases and attempt to counter their effects whenever possible.

What causes people to be biased? Starting at a young age, people will discriminate between those who are like them, their “ingroup,” and those who are not like them, “their outgroup.” On the plus side, they can gain a sense of identity and safety. However, taken to the extreme, this categorization can foster an “us-versus-them” mentality and lead to harmful prejudice.

Can a person be unbiased? Generally, no. Everyone has some degree of bias. It’s human nature to assign judgment based on first impressions. Also, most people have a lifetime of conditioning by schools, religious institutions, their families of origin, and the media. However, by reflecting critically on judgments and being aware of blind spots, individuals can avoid stereotyping and acting on harmful prejudice.

How do you identify if a source is biased? If a source is biased, you can notice them being heavily opinionated, the source relies on unsubstantiated claims, it presents highly selected facts that lean to a certain outcome, it presents opinion rather than facts, it uses inappropriate languages, etc. Asking questions such as, who produced the source? What facts has the author committed? What additional information is necessary? What words create positive or negative impressions? And many more. This discussion also allowed me to learn about the Six Hats Method by Edward de Bono. The Sic Hats Method is proven to be a very effective method for making decisions that takes into account a variety of viewpoints. The approach and procedure allow for the integration of emotion and skepticism into what could otherwise be a purely rational decision-making process, as well as the ability to make more creative decisions.

Lastly, can biases really affect our lives? Biased tendencies can greatly affect both our personal and professional lives. They can influence our actions and decisions, they can affect the way we interact with people, they can also affect the advice we give and consider, and they can also greatly affect the way we conduct performance evaluations. In short, biases can greatly affect the way we think and decide. Therefore, it is important for each and everyone of us to learn how to examine biases correctly and know whether the information is accurate and reliable.

Those are the lessons that I have learned this Week 1 of the 3rd Quarter!

It can be positive and beneficial but may also be negative and lead to a poor outcome. Biases are frequently based on preconceptions rather than real understanding of a person or situation.
Biases are natural processes that assist people to make rapid judgements. They are uncontrollable, unconscious, and automatic.

A category if biases, cognitive biases, is also explained through the discussion. It is the repetition of thought processes that might lead to incorrect or irrational conclusions. It may aid people in making quick judgments, but such decisions are not always correct.
Methods for avoiding biases are also highlighted, with examples such as monitoring the indicators, constructing a line argument, and selecting more likely situations.

Edward de Bono's six hat method is a parallel thinking procedure that assists analysts in overcoming their assumptions, biases, and heuristics. Through this lesson, I find out and learned many things such as recognizing the biases in the information supplied, increasing one's awareness, making accurate judgments, and respect the perspectives and opinions of others, and identifying the biases that are portrayed in the materials given. The purpose of bias tests is to determine the strength of the link between groups and assessments or stereotypes. The results of these bias tests can help people understand how others in their outer group are perceived. The first step in addressing prejudices is to help people become aware of them.

Because of the lesson I gained, I now have many various viewpoints when it comes to making decisions in my life, whether they are minor or major. I learned what bias is and what its benefits and drawbacks are. A disproportionate weight in favor of or against a thought or item, usually in a closed-minded, biased, or unfair manner, is defined as bias. Biases, while sometimes beneficial, can nonetheless be dangerous because they are nearly entirely dependent on stereotypes, leading to rash actions that forecast future outcomes. As a result, I find Edward de Bono's six hats method to be extremely useful in making judgments. To make a judgment, the six hats approach uses different colored hats for diverse perspectives. Yellow represents optimism, white represents neutrality, red represents emotions, black represents pessimism, green represents creativity, and blue represents organization. Because of the various viewpoints presented, one can make a sensible, practical, and most importantly, unbiased decision. Unbiased information is critical because people not only deserve the truth, but the decisions they make have the potential to impact someone's life for the better or for the worse.

- Khirsten Glenn B. Hernandez

After watching the video discussion presented by ma’am Pauline Cathy Aristo for the 1st Week of English 8 (3rd Quarter), I have learned lots of aspects relating to the topic which is Examining/Identifying Biases.

First off, I learned that as according to research, there are various factors that affects our decision making other than our personal wants and opinion/perspective. Some of these factors are: Personal, Cultural, Social, Information and Psychological factors.

Second, I learned that a bias is defined as a tendency, inclination or prejudice towards or against something/someone and is often characterized as a stereotype about people based on their physical characteristics and where they belong to. Biases are also known to be an unconscious, automatic and non-controllable reflex that many people have. It is said that some biases are positive and helpful (like choosing to live a healthy lifestyle) but of course, there are also biases that are negative and harmful-these type of biases are often based on stereotypes (for example, if the skin color of a person is dark, then they are known to be dirty, criminals, and uneducated). Though whether a bias is positive or negative, if it is based on a stereotype then it can still result to prejudgment that may lead to rash decisions or discriminatory practices.

Various informations in today’s era can be found anywhere in the internet and any of these informations can be biased which cannot be trusted easily. But if so, how do we identify whether an information is biased or not when identifying biases are known to be tricky? (for they not clearly stated and are often based on a person’s personal belief and opinion). Well I learned that there are various strategies used in order to identify biased information which is (1) finding its source, evaluating it and asking yourself questions like “Who produced the source?”, “Did the author used strong/offensive/negative language?” and “Did the content contained facts? Evidence? Citations or links of the evidence?”. (2) Is determining whether the information/source is opinionated, one-sided, relies on unsupported claims, uses negative/inappropriate language, tries to persuade you and others more.

Lastly, I also learned about the “Six Hats Method” a method made by Edward de Bono which is a parallel thinking process that helps analysts overcome their assumptions, biases and heuristics. In this, there are members assigned with a “role” to play or a hat to wear. There are a total 6 different types of hats:
•Blue Hat-Process (the leader)
•White Hat-Facts (is neutral and expresses only facts)
•Red Hat-Emotion (uses emotion/is emotional)
•Green Hat-Creativity (looks outside the box/likes to improve things)
•Yellow Hat-Benefits (looks at everything with a positive attitude)
•Black Hat-Cautions (the “devil’s advocate” and emphasizes the risks & dangers).

As everything that we see on the internet and social media can be fake or biased we can’t easily trust these information or sources without digging a little deeper to it. I conclude that examining or identifying biases is very beneficial in our daily lives for it helps us know/identify if a certain information or source we find on the internet and social media can be trusted or is true. I have also concluded that my role in the “Six Hats Method” is wearing the Red Hat for I am a pretty emotional person(=

I learned many meaningful and inspirational lessons after watching the video presentation about biases.

First, I learned the factors that may affect decision making. These are the personal, cultural, social and psychological factors. Different types of information can also affect our decision making.

Now, let us talk about biases. A bias is a tendency, inclination, or prejudice towards or against something or someone. Some biases are positive and helpful. However, there are some biases that are often based on stereotypes, rather than actual knowledge. Biases are normal processes designed to make decisions quickly.

There is a method created by Edward de Bono that aims to help analysts in managing thoughts and biases. This is called "Six hats method" which consist of 6 hats with different colors. These hats have different roles. Blue hat is for process. This is used when you are most likely to organize your thoughts and plan for action. White represents facts. A person wearing this rely on information and data that are facts. Red hat signifies feelings and is used if you're an emotional person. Green hat is for creativity. You use this if you like to invent create things. Yellow symbolizes benefits, used when you tend to look on the good sides of something. Last is the color Black which demonstrates caution. A person who uses this emphasizes the risks and dangers of something. He or she is very logical.

Now, I am able to determine information that are biased. This knowledge will help me to make right decisions about something especially to those complicated situations that needs to be analyzed carefully. An inaccurate decision can make a huge change to our future. Always remember to don't just believe on what you seen, read and heard. We must also learn to respect the opinion of others. Chose the right option in every situation. Consider not only yourself, but also the people around you.

My Reflections and Insights about this Week's Lesson in English 8: Jhames Mharky S. Manalo

The presented lesson, titled "Examining Biases," taught me several topics that aroused my curiosity.

First, the topic of discussion begins with the factors that influence decision-making. Aside from our personal desires, cultural, psychological, social, and other information all have a role in decision-making.

Second, bias is described as a predisposition, predilection, or prejudice toward or against something or someone. It can be positive and beneficial, but it can also be bad and result in a terrible effect. Biases are typically based on preconceived notions rather than actual knowledge of a person or circumstance.

Biases are natural processes that help people make quick decisions. They are uncontrollable, automatic, and unconscious.

Identifying biases is a difficult task, and the video offered ways for doing so as well as examples of biases that we may encounter. When analyzing a source, ask yourself, "Does the content provide all of the facts or at least fairly present both sides of an argument?" ", "Who owns/produces the source?", "Do they back up their claims with facts?" " may aid in determining whether or not it is biased. Biased materials are highly opinionated, present selective facts, utilize inappropriate language, and rely on unsubstantiated claims.

The discussion also explains a type of bias known as cognitive biases. The repetition of mental processes might lead to erroneous or unreasonable conclusions. It may help people make quick decisions, although such decisions are not always correct.

Methods for eliminating prejudice are also discussed, with examples including watching the indications, building a line argument, and selecting more likely instances.

And lastly, the video discussed Edward de Bono's "Six Hats Method," which is a parallel thinking process that helps analysts overcome their assumptions, biases, and heuristics. Members are allotted a "part" to play or a hat to wear in this. There are six different styles of hats:

•Blue Hat-Process (the leader)

•White Hat-Facts (is neutral and expresses only facts)

•Red Hat-Emotion (uses emotion/is emotional)

•Green Hat-Creativity (looks outside the box/likes to improve things)

•Yellow Hat-Benefits (looks at everything with a positive attitude)

•Black Hat-Cautions (the “devil’s advocate” and emphasizes the risks & dangers).

Examining biases is beneficial in all aspects of our lives. It can assist us in quickly understanding and determining whether or not a specific piece of information is true or trustworthy. We can't deny that in our modern period, where social media is widely used, we can read some news that is false or prejudiced. This lesson can help everyone assess before making assumptions or decisions. Let us look for biases in the information/news we consume. We should promote unbiased news in an age when we all utilize social media to get information and expertise.

Keep in mind, "Always consider what might happen if you were on the other side."

In this lesson, I've learned about bias, how to determine biases on the source and how to avoid it. Bias is a prejudice or against on someone or something that is being compared with another. It is usually considered unfair which can be harmful in real-world outcomes. Nowadays, people may not be aware thay they hold these biases. You can determine biases by keenly observing the details of the article. It must be neutral and present real facts not an opinionated and unsupported claims. We must be logical and evidenced-based before making a conclusion. Assume that the event has happened and be specific on what must occur in each stage of scenario. Consider also the positive and consequences of each scenario and its possible impact. We need to set an indicators for us to be guided and check if it met to make a concrete data with the information given and avoid being bias.

James Marion Q. Villena CN: 14

In this lesson I learned bias is an unbalanced load for or against a thought or thing, as a rule in a way that is shut leaning, biased, or unreasonable. Also that prejudice is regularly characterized as biases about individuals in view of their participation in a specific gathering. This type of prejudice can have unfortunate results in reality. Individuals might be aware of their biases. Prejudice are regular cycles that assist with peopling make fast decisions. It is absolutely impossible to beat these reflexes more often than not. Bias can take many different forms so it is sometimes hard to identify, some of the forms they take are the following financial sway, different beliefs, sexism and many more. So when researching about a specific topic that is debated by many you need to check other sources first since if you only check one source it might be bias.

People nowadays may be unaware that they have biases. Biases can be detected by paying close attention to the article's details. It must be objective and offer true facts rather than biased and unsupported assertions. Before coming to a decision, we must be logical and evidence-based. Assume the incident has occurred and be precise about what has to happen at each level of the scenario. Consider the positive and negative aspects of each scenario, as well as the potential impact.
