Mr Everest, The museum curator, reported the crime. He also knew Mr LePoop well, and had seen excerpts of his newest exhibition, fish, fish, fishy. Mr Everest knew Mr LePoop frequented Sealife Aquarium World. After finding out that Mr Everest commissioned Mr LePoop to recreate the museums key piece, police went to search Mr Everest’s desk at the museum. They found Mr Everest dead, with several deep stab wounds in his back, caused by a pair of garden shears. Found in the wounds was bio matter that was identified to have come from the plant ‘Jade Vine’ one of the top ten rarest plants in Australia. One of the few owners of this plant is Svetlana Kalashnikov, who works as the museums horticulturalist. At his residence police found the missing document, a bundle of coded letters and a copy of the periodic table. On his desk were two more coded letters and an ad for a rare plant exhibit.

Police attended his art exhibitions opening night, which featured Miss Ward in it. He knew Mr Everest well. Mr Everest said that Mr LePoop was frequenting Sealife Aquarium world for inspiration on his newest exhibit. Police went to the exhibit, but Mr LePoop was not there. Several people said this was “unusual and concerning.” Police went to Sealife Aquarium World, in hopes of finding Mr LePoop, human fragments floating in the crocodile tank were found, as well as a large amount of blood. This was determined to be Mr LePoop. Although he was eaten by crocodiles, his cause of death was blunt force trauma to the head. Police found the stolen artwork in his apartment. Solvents and lead based paints were also found, possibly the same as the ones found in Mr Sampson’s locker. A half completed replica of the museums key piece was also found, and a commission by Mr Everest to paint it.
