Students will decide the duty among the 4 of them (clean whiteboard, sweep floor, arrange tables & chairs, clear litter bins). On the last day/week of the term, we invite the birthday boys and girls to the front, each choose a cupcake, and then we sing birthday song for them. We also take photos during the celebrations. This has helped to promote class bonding. The class comm members will help to purchase the cupcakes. The budget is $4/student. Only then will the teacher greet the class and everyone can sit down. Students who forget to bring their badges have to remain standing for the entire assembly. We were impressed by the amount of funds that the students were able to raise during sports day (and their business acumen). We were also very impressed by how the students took the extra time to shop for gifts and decorations for the party, and how they took charge during the party that they planned out for the children.
