I think that Anna killed herself. Maybe she accidentally had too much aspirin causing her to feel dizzy, then she tripped and hit her head on the cart and then she bled to death. 
2. I think that Anna's blood was the one found on the crime scene because the killer didn't get hurt and leave any blood.

There was no evidence of drug overdose but there was vomit everywhere. 
Anna also had blood soaked clothes and swollen ankles. 
The was a head wound at the right temple, the area is bruised and had limited bleeding evident, however, there was no skull factor.

She had no sugar which leads us to believe that she has diabetes.
