1. A student and a teacher are close friends outside the class. They have coffee together often and even go out to movies and res- taurants. Nevertheless, the student receives a D as the final grade for the course. The student feels that the teacher should change the grade to a C or a B.

2. In front of the class, the teacher makes an obviously incorrect statement that confuses all but one of the students. This student knows why the teacher made the mistake and feels that it would be a good idea to clarify the misunderstanding for the rest of the class.

3. A teacher is correcting examinations and notices that three students all have the same wrong answers for every question. It is obvious that these students cheated. The teacher must do some thing about this.

4. A student has paid a lot of money for his university courses. In one of the courses, the teacher is not doing an adequate job. the student feels that she never prepares for classes, wastes time with attendance and unimportant announcements, gives poor lectures, and returns homework late. The student feels that it is necessary to say or do something.

5. In a course on world religions, one student is constantly trying to prove that his or her religion is the best. This student's attitude bothers the other students and they complain to the teacher. The teacher must respond to this situation.

1. Yes, teacher should establish personal relationship with their students because it is good to build conductive learning through informal environment in the classroom. So, It can break the nervous and stress during teaching-learning process. Besides, friendly teacher will be liked by the students so that the students will not afraid or unwilling to ask their teacher about the subject or anything.
2. Both of them is true, because teacher have to be a flexible teacher such as when teachers teach their student, teacher should be strict to make the students become pay attention to the subject. Furthermore, another reason why teacher should establish personal relationship between their students because it is good for students to break the nervous and stress during teaching-learning process.
3. It is based on the situation of the class, such as when students are making noisy and it is not in discussion section teacher should be strict to their students, and if there are students who not understand about some materials or students ask the teacher, teacher should give them explanation with lenient. Moreover, teacher should encougare the students to ask a question or more because it makes them become active students in the class.
4. Yes, teacher should. Firstly, teacher should let the students to express their opinion because it can stimulate their thinking, but if they make some statement or opinion that not approviate or not polite, teacher have to give them explanation or correct their explanation and give feedback that can motivate them.

1. Yes, because as a teacher we are not only educate their cognitive but also we should educate their attitude by knowing their personalities.

2. In our opinion, it depends on situation. Why? Because we should become a flexible teacher, to make it happens we don't have to put away the essence of the teacher as authority figure by controlling them as a teacher task. Besides, the teacher should have appropriate way to get an ease with them based on students' personality.

3. Depend on situation. We as a flexible teacher, we also should know students' needs. After we know their needs, we can decide either we should strict or lenient. For the second questions, we argue that we should encourage students to ask questions to make them more active in our class.

4. Definitely yes. Because we have to appreciate their opinion, although their opinion differs with us. Also we have to understand them that they are still learning and need our guidance.

Diana
R Dinda
Risma
Linda
Amelia
A
1. Yes they should. Because its important to gain closeness, and because of that, the teacher will take it easy to get to know the students' weakness or else about their ability to support learning process inside the class.
2. It is based on students condition if they are follow the teacher instruction, teacher should'n stict, otherwise if they not follow the teacher instruction, teacher should stict to students but teacher not make students feel learning so bore.
Yes teacher should encorage students to ask questions because with encorage students to ask questions its mean makes students more active in learning.
3. In our opinion both of them because Teacher must know the situation of the students to make students comfortable in learning process.Beside that,Teacher keep the relationship with students
4. Yes, because it helps the teacher to give evaluation to the students but they are have to know the bounderies between them.
there are norm that they have to follow, still respect the older and speak politely.
The truth opinion it can be boomerang for the students too, because it depand on how the teacher accept it, maybe negative or positive. The teacher should become open minded about different opinion that she/he faced. The students have their own human right to speak up their mind.
B.
Teacher: So, i think KPK that stands for Indonesian Corruption Commission needs to be more assertive in wiping out the corruptor in Indonesia—
Students: Sir, im sorry to interrupt you but i think youve made some mistake in your explanation. As i know, the abbreviation of KPK is not Indonesian Corruption Commission but its Corruption Eradication Commission.
Teacher: Oh im sorry, i forgot that there is no Indonesian in KPK right? I got confused between KPK and ICW? Indonesian Corruption Watch, Indonesian non-govermental organization which has a job to supervise corruption cases that happened in Indonesia

Yes, we agree with the statement because the teacher has to maintain the relationship with the student to know their background, characteristics, habit, and keep the closeness.
But At the same time the teacher has to be subjective in giving assessment. That's what we called professionality

2.Coudn't agree more!
When a teacher made a mitakes and the studnets knew that and relize that, of course it should be clarifyed and discuses togegther till find the same opinion and find the right answer.

3. Of course, the teacher should clarify the answer to the three students. Asked the students honestly why were they had the same mistakes on their exam. In addition the teacher also must have his own opinion based on an observation he did by himself while the exam were going on, like, the teacher consider the siting arrangement while they had the exam.

4.Yes we agree, that actually the teacher have obligation during the learning process. Let's say how the teacher teach, what the method that the teacher used, and others. Furthermore the teacher has to make the student feel comfortable in the class and during the learning process. The teacher get paid to teach, then be the teacher like. The real teacher has to make the good output not about the money

5. As a teacher the teacher should give understanding that we have to respect every religion and not t too feel that our religion is the right one.

The teachers should to establish relationship with their students, because it can make the students more relax in their learning and also the teachers know their atittude in the classroom.
2. The teacher should be authority figure so the students obey the teacher roles especially norms of learning and do all the task, but sometime the teacher should be egalitarian to understand their wants and needs.
3. The teacher should be strict beacuse in the students age, they want to get freely and lean to negative thing. So, the teacher have to give direction and bring their to positive.
4.
