I could see NewsELA being useful, especially in an activity where students need to research current events. Recently, my class was in the library, and I think that lesson about using databases and navigating the library could have been more fun with a program like Goosechase. For other technology tools, I think audiobooks and ebooks are valuable tools as well.

I would love to use DoInk in classes because it allows for students to be creative in where and how they learn. I can see students telling me about history from space because things were so bad on earth they just had to get away and they're sharing this video with us to do the same. Or a final project where the students are news anchors or game show hosts.

I think kahoot is always a good resource especially when it comes to reviewing for an upcoming exam. I think the friendly competition is engaging for students and the teacher can incorporate appropriate material and review questions. I also like the idea of an online scavenger hunt using Goosechase. I think there are a lot of ways to use a scavenger hunt to meet certain goals. It can be an introductory lesson to help students learn about a new topic or a review to check students knowledge about the material.

I see Kahoot as a very interactive and game-like service that makes learning engaging for students. The friendly competitiveness due to its quiz-style format encourages active student participation and can increase student motivation. Many of my classes have used Kahoot, which has been very effective in testing for learning.

I think that quizziz can be fun to use if you use some of the other features on it. Though I think Kahoot would be even better to use because of how engaging it is for students. The idea of Goosechase is also really fun and I think that could be used in Social studies or Science classes. You can do a lot of interconnecting of subjects while using any of these applications.

Oh course I would continue to love kahoot as it is a classic way of engaging students as they enjoy the friendly competition. I also really enjoy using Canva to create not only pretty and engaging presentations, but using it to make artwork and materials for the classroom; it can also be used for interactive games and elements in the presentation. As for new things I saw, I think the goosechase and pear deck would be interesting to use as I find it hard for high schoolers to stay engaged and feel like these would help utilize their phones in ways to keep things interesting while also staying connected with them.

I think Goosechase could be a good way to help students engage with one another while using technology. As a scavenger hunt activity, this can build friendly competition and collaboration among students where they can learn in a more fun engaging way with a post-assessment to a whole unit. I also see this working well with classic Kahoot games as Kahoot is always another way for students to test their skills and engage with one another. Additionally, it allows for all types of lessons to be included and used so any subject can be used in these types of games in class.
