After watching the ~2 minute Youtube video, share 3-2-1 (3 things you found out, 2 things you found interesting or surprising, and 1 question you have). The question can be one you hope we will answer as a class, or an open-ended question without a "right" answer.

I found out that 36000 kids died sacrificing themselves , I learned that half of the population was women and I also learned that they thought that drafting them was for the parents sake. I thought that telling them if they sacrificed themselves they would go to heaven was kind of like using them and forcing them into a deal that they couldn’t resist and I found out that 1 million people died and I thought that that was crazy I didn’t think that that many people lost their lives it was surprising to me. Were the kids scared to sacrifice themselves? Or did they want to and take the deal with no second though?
