Oceans are larger than seas. There are five oceans on Earth: the Atlantic, Indian, Southern, Arctic, and Pacific. Seas, on the other hand, are smaller bodies of water that are partially enclosed by land. Some examples of seas include the Mediterranean Sea, the Red Sea, and the Caribbean Sea.Overall, oceans are larger, deeper, saltier, and have stronger tides than seas. However, both oceans and seas are important parts of the Earth's water cycle and play a critical role in regulating the planet's climate and weather patterns.
