Description: This date was the beginning of nuclear weapon use throughout the world as the United States was the first to develop and have a successful nuclear test. The test was successful, but started conflicts with other nations in the process.

Analysis: This is important because this was a major technological advancement for the USA. This was the first atomic bomb ever created, and it was man-made by the USA. This is also important because this event caused other nations to feel inferior and made them feel the need to also produce nuclear weapons.

The Japanese bombed Pear Harbor killing innocent United States Armed Service members, and the USA dropped a nuke on Hiroshima in return.

Analysis: This event is important because while it was devastating for a foreign country to be nuked by another country, it gave the world a new look for America.
