-A flowers purpose is mostly for pollination reproduction 
-Flowers colors are usually bright and colorful so they attract attention from the pollinators 
-The chemicals that are in flowers are not generous towards green, they favor reds, blues, purples, oranges, and yellows. 
-Green is not a color that the pollinators are attracted to, they are attracted to the colors and if the flowers were green they would not be able to find the flower. They are not attracted to the stems and leaves and if the flowers were green they would look the same as the stems and leaves.
