Hello there from Trinidad. Christmas is very special time for us here in Trinidad. We celebrate by eating pastels, visiting family and friends and exchanging gifts! The part that is most enjoyable for my family is helping the less fortunate by donating food, money and clothes/toys. We usually get busy visiting friends and family. "Down the islands" (Tiny Islands off the northwest coast of Trinidad) is popular for us to visit. We would do "boating" ,"wake boarding" and swim in the sea. It's a great way to spend a day. We take food with us either picnic or BBQ on the boats.

Hello from Glencoe, Trinidad. I am 10 and at Christmas time we put up our tree while listening to parang music. We also make ponche de crème, sorrel, pastelles and much more. At Dunross the girls are going to be rain for the concert held every other year.Christmas is a special time for all of us.

We also hang our stockings and get small gifts from the 20th-24th of December. On the 24th either in the morning or evening I Open a small gift as a 'starter' gift before church. We go by our grandparents every Christmas morning for local 'brunch' and prayer. Merry Christmas:)
