If you'll lose your bag, you'd not need to worry about also losing your key along with your bag if you have a 3-way door lock system in your home.

Usually, people make duplicates of their door keys so that they have extra ones when they forget their keys but it's also dangerous because other people could get their duplicates so that they could get inside their houses and steal. With the 3-way door lock system, you wouldn't need to worry about that.

With the advent of smart technologies, it's not far fetch that people will think of making their door locks smart.
