Must the company be one that has never internationalised?

No. You may select a company that already has internationalisation experience (including 'born globals'). If your company has internationalisation experience, your explanation of their background should include info on their internationalisation experience to date, and then the potential reasons/motivations for the new internationalisation opportunity that will be the main concern of your report.

Yes, you may. When addressing the potential reasons/motivations, you should justify the re-entry to Country X, i.e. explain why you recommend they try again now; what's changed since the last time they attempted to enter Country X.

'Born globals' would have an existing internationalisation practice of exporting (usually via online means). You could write about expanding to a country that they don't yet have a presence at all / situating R&D in a country where there is an industry cluster (or some cost advantages) / having a joint venture with a local company in a host country to expand its offerings in a different way

How is an Exec. Summary different from the Introduction / the conclusion? / What is an Exec. Summary?

The Exec. Summary is an abridged version of the ENTIRE report, covering the main points. It should be able to make sense on its own.

The introduction is [the beginning] part of your report, introducing what you're about to write, and the conclusion is [the last] part of your report, concluding the writing / 'wrapping up' your report. Your Exec Summary would therefore actually include a summary of your report's introduction & conclusion.

You may use the analogy of the 'Abstract' of a journal article. You will notice that a journal article would have an Abstract [akin to an Exec. Summary], and also an Introduction and a Conclusion.

Please also see the section on 'About the Executive Summary' in the Coursework Briefing slides found on Moodle, where there are some illustrative examples - https://moodle.nottingham.ac.uk/mod/resource/view.php?id=5704502
