They then check the light and the whole submarine. There inst much air but there is light and they chose between fireflies and foxfire to light the boat. But then they choose foxfire. Then they worry about Mr. Pratt who might've seen the letter to Ben Franklin. Then they ask to meet at midnight to take it so they can try and hide it better so Mr.Pratt doesn't find it. After a long time, the Turtle cam back up and the test was a success!. David is afraid that Mr. Pratt is going to find out that the mail didn't reach the British because the British weren't doing anything. They figured that he was in a hurry so it got scrawled on the wrong letter. It was not a tory. The person was Ben Franklin. When he visted they discused how to light the submarine. They also had David go and test the submarine it was taking such a long time but finally he came up with sucsses! After they found out that Mr.Pratt had intercepted the letter. Ben Franklen said that there was a note on the back of Nate's letter. They were lucky it didn't actually go to the British. They discussed how the submarine worked and then had David test it out, it took a while but David finally came up to shore. It worked!
