We learnt about different types of input and output devices such as scanner, printers, mike, monitors, keyboard, mouse etc. We learnt about the troubleshooting of these different input and output devices for example we learnt about how we need to install and update our drivers for new software in printers and scanner and we also learnt about We learnt about ports and how different devices use different types of ports and how damaged ports can be the cause of your hardware device not functioning properly.
In keyboards we learnt about cleaning of the keyboard is vital because dust partcles and debris can obstruct the keys from being pressed and can cause inconvenience for the person typing.
To clean the keyboard we need to just hold it upside down so that all the debris falls out we can also use air blowers to clean it out.
In mouse we learnt that we should not keep any paper or cloth underneath it as doing so obstructs the optical sensor underneath the mouse. We should also make sure that the cables are connected properly to the pc and none of the ports are damaged.
For printers we learnt about how the colour of the light indicated different problems in the printer for example orange light says that their is an error in the pc and the green light says thaty the pc is turned on
