In keyboards we learnt about cleaning of the keyboard is vital because dust partcles and debris can obstruct the keys from being pressed and can cause inconvenience for the person typing. 
To clean the keyboard we need to just hold it upside down so that all the debris falls out we can also use air blowers to clean it out.
In mouse we learnt that we should not keep any paper or cloth underneath it as doing so obstructs the optical sensor underneath the mouse. We should also make sure that the cables are connected properly to the pc and none of the ports are damaged.
