One day, Tam caught a small fish and raised it with great care. She loved the fish like her own friend, but her stepmother killed it to hurt her feelings. A fairy appeared and helped Tam by giving her beautiful clothes and shoes so that she could go to the royal festival. At the festival, Tam looked so graceful that the prince immediately fell in love with her and later made her his wife.

However, Tam’s happiness did not last easily. Cam and her mother were jealous and tried many times to harm Tam. They used tricks to take her place and even caused her great suffering.
